Group rebranded and launched as Kin Vet Community
We are delighted to announce that we have completed the acquisition of certain UK veterinary clinics. The new business has rebranded as Kin Vet Community and is headed up by Ciara McCormack MVB, CEO.
Kin Vet Community is a community of passionate professionals, committed to caring for pets and communities. Promoting animal health while fostering empathetic, transparent and trusted relationships with its clients and their pets, as well as the professional growth and wellbeing of its team, is at the heart of the company.
The UK veterinary services industry consistently demonstrates robust growth. With the increasing humanisation of pets and advancements in medical, surgical, and diagnostic procedures, coupled with the availability of new drugs, veterinarians offer an expanding range of services. These factors all contribute to the market’s upward trajectory and attractiveness.
Growing consumer awareness regarding animal health and welfare has also provided the industry with a certain level of resilience against weak economic conditions, as veterinary spend is considered non-discretionary for most households.
Gurinder Sunner, Partner at Perwyn, commented: “We are thrilled to announce our first foray into the veterinary sector, a sector we have always respected for its robust business dynamics and the remarkable dedication of its professionals. It is a great pleasure to be working with Ciara and her team as they grow a new group dedicated to nurturing and advancing veterinary experts.”
“Our investment in this venture is a strategic move that resonates with our commitment to nurture companies in high-growth industries. The UK veterinary services market is on an impressive upward trajectory, fuelled by the deepening bond between people and their pets and the continuous innovation in veterinary healthcare. We are excited to be a part of this thriving industry.”
Ciara McCormack, CEO of Kin Vet Community, added: “At Kin Vet Community, we have brought together a team rich in industry experience and insight, positioning us to take full advantage of the shifting dynamics in pet care and veterinary services. Our workplace culture is geared around nurturing the professional growth and wellbeing of our colleagues: at our core, we focus on improving the delivery of care by developing our people.
“With Perwyn’s support, we are now poised to accelerate our growth, and elevate the standard of pet care throughout the UK, reflecting the evolving relationship between pets and their human companions.”
